Below is a list of free email providers. If you have internet access you will recieve one automagically with your account. Please note that some of these providers are free with the option to upgrade for more space and features for a fee. If you have your own domain name then you can setup your own email accounts. This can be done through your web hosting company for the domain name.

Probably the first pioneer of free email accounts. Everyone had an hotmail account.

Gmail – https://mail.google.com
Google the search empire offers free email with 7GBs of space. GMAIL has integrated chat so you can message your contacts directly if they are available online. If you use other google services then a GMAIL is a must as a backup address.
